Men appreciate strong women and strong women do not bring down others by talking behind their backs – that is a sign of insecurity and weakness, and it’s not attractive. So even if you feel in some way inadequate when measuring up against another woman, try focusing on your good qualities and even talk to your partner about what you feel insecure about. Talking trash about other women is not a good look, and will do nothing to help the situation.
3. APOLOGIZING TOO MUCH
Apologies should be kept for situation where you have done something wrong and an apology is required. But don’t feel the need to apologize for the small stuff, like wearing your pyjamas all day, forgetting to clean the dishes one night, or not putting on makeup before going out to the shops. Apologizing for small things is a sign that you’re being too hard on yourself, so by going easier on yourself you will feel less stressed and your relationship will benefit from this.
4. NOT GIVING YOUR PARTNER ENOUGH ALONE TIME
Every person needs time alone without having someone asking something from them. It’s crucial to have this time to rejuvenate and to partake in personal hobbies and interests. If you spend too much time stuck to the side of your significant other, it might mean they are not getting the space they need to pursue other interests or to switch off from the world completely for a while.
5. CUTTING OUT YOUR FRIENDS
Don’t forget how important it is to have good friendships as well as a good relationship. Strong friendships actually help your relationship stay healthy, so make some time to go meet your friends occasionally, and encourage your partner to do the same.
